About Preston Parker
Hailing from the heart of Texas, Preston Parker is a fresh voice in the Red Dirt music scene, blending traditional country roots with a gritty, modern edge. In his early twenties, Preston is already making waves with his authentic sound, crafted from his deep connection to the land and people of his home state.
Growing up surrounded by the open skies and dusty roads of Texas, Preston was immersed in the sounds of country legends and Red Dirt pioneers. His musical influences range from the southern rock sounds of Whiskey Myers and Koe Wetzel to the traditional style of Turnpike Troubadours and Tyler Childers, but it’s Preston’s own unique perspective that resonates most with his fans. His lyrics are a reflection of life, love, and the stories that run deep into the red roots of Texas.
With a powerful voice and a passion for playing live, Preston’s stage presence commands attention. Through this, he has already opened for great acts such as Bri Bagwell, Cole Phillips, and even Stoney LaRue.
At just 20-something years old, Preston Parker is one of Texas’ most exciting young talents. As he continues to carve his own path through the world of Red Dirt, his music speaks to anyone who’s ever loved and lost, fought for their dreams, or felt the call of the open road.
Parker released his first single “Back Before” in July. His new single “Last Call” is set to release November 20.
